Here we are: closing another year. And this one is significant for RHB since it marks the end of our 20th year of operation. Time has flown; we must be having fun.
Earlier this year, I developed a presentation for my Notre Dame students who had asked what I’d learned in 20 years of business. So I took some time to reflect on some important lessons I’ve learned along the way. These slides aren’t the sum of what I’ve learned, but they represent some wisdom I’ve picked up as an agency owner. If you dig, you might find a useful nugget in these tweets.
A few notes:
- For those who don’t tweet, the rule is that each Twitter entry may not exceed 140 characters.
- In the presentation I reference David Baker, who’s been a tough but influential consultant to Tammy and me. I have been annoyed and inspired by his guidance and that’s a pretty good sign he’s a helpful consultant.
This is a good time to think back on our progress. We have much for which to be thankful. We’ve been blessed with outstanding people who have contributed their talents to RHB. And we’ve had remarkable clients with great causes who make coming to work each day thrilling. (I didn’t say easy.) We are honored to have played a small part in their success these past two decades. Here’s to the next couple of ‘em.
